Anonymous asked: Where do you go to get your prints done? How many do you make? How do you decide what to charge? I'm thinking of getting an artist alley booth, and I'm trying to get some references c:
i don’t mind answering, but please ask these types of questions off-anon! we can have a more in depth conversation! / v \ but! as far as quick answers go:
01. i get them printed at fireball printing. i’m located in florida, but their turnaround is very fast! they’re stationed in philly~ and they are very polite and sweet and completely a+.
02. i order twenty each, usually, but for my more popular prints i order thirty to thirty five. i don’t like selling out of prints! so i always try to bring enough, though you can never be sure :(
03. you should take into consideration how much it costs/materials, how much time you put into it and whether or not it’s a one-of-a-kind piece. there are a bunch of different factors though. also, once you set a price, try to be relatively strict about it! oftentimes, i see new artists switching prices on the fly to try and make a sale and customers they might have sold to at a higher price will get upset!
i hope this helps! if you have any other questions, feel free to ask! but please don’t be on anon, i won’t hurt you * v * and GOOD LUCK!
